So I was peacefully sleeping away when I was rudely awakened at 2am. BLAM! my eyes snapped open as if the house had just been hit by a large truck. ugh. No good. Toss & turn, get another moment of wide-eyed but more like a pond ripple, then closed my eyes again and passed right back out. THEN my older cat decides 5 am is the perfect time to march across my pillow, stop, bite my hair & pull. yes. He pulled my hair. When the hell did he figure that out??? friggin cat. I scoot over a couple of inches & he marches down the side of the bed to sleep next to my knees. Apparently, he felt he didn’t have a wide enough walk way or something. He stayed for a total of FIVE minutes. Then he jumps off the bed, sounding like a large, full bookbag, as he hits the ground “KERFLUMP, jingle jingle”. Yes, he has a bell on his collar so we can keep track of where he is. In fact, both cats have bells. More so we could keep track of where the little one was, but all’s fair when playing cat games. Although, I simultaneously felt really guilty and highly amused when the older cat hissed at his own bell once. Good times. 🙂 Have a lovely rest of your week. I have to figure out what’s next in mine.
Shine On!
